About the Minor Family

We are a family from the Midwest. My husband and I have known each other since kindergarten, but we didn't start dating until college. We've been married for 15 years now, with a daughter in third grade and a son in preschool. My husband transitioned from being a computer programmer to an electrical engineer, while I was a middle school math teacher.

When our youngest was 6 months old, we discovered he would need regular doctor visits and therapies. As a result, I shifted from being an educator to a stay-at-home mom to handle all the appointments. Since then, we've also started homeschooling our oldest child.

For a couple of months each year, the kids and I relocate to another part of our state so our son can receive intensive therapy. During these periods, we stay at a Ronald McDonald House. We enjoy activities, traveling, party planning, educational content creation, and more.
